Australia became a commonwealth in 1901. It started issuing its own stamps in 1913.  Prior to that it used stamps for each of its varied states.

240 Pence = 12 Shillings = 1 Pound 1913 - 1966
100 Cents = 1 Dollar 1966 - Present
